Pre-course Counselling

Students will be briefed on the information as described below during Pre-course Counselling conducted by the Sales Consultants/Recruitment Agents for prospective students. Pre-course Counselling is conducted to enable the students to make an informed decision on their course application. In addition, accepted students will also be briefed by the Student Support Services Department on these information during the orientation session. Some of the information covered are:

A. Applicant’s Particulars

     Particulars of the applicant covering name, NRIC / Passport no., telephone contact no and e-mail address. Also the title of the course applied and the intake date

B. Programme information

     Programme information includes course structure, intake dates, duration and assessment, schedule, admission requirements comprising age, academic qualification and language proficiency

C. Additional information for International Students

     Information pertaining to Singapore laws, especially those relating to Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) and Ministry of Manpower (MOM). Student Pass holders are not permitted to engage in any form of employment whether paid or unpaid without a valid work pass issued by Ministry of Manpower, Singapore. In addition, laws pertaining to driving, drugs and alcohol abuse, employment, smoking and littering. Also covered are personal and medical insurance, advice on accommodation and cost of living in Singapore, and general healthcare services in Singapore.

D. Fees Payable and Payment Modes

     Student will be briefed on the different types of fees (application fee, course fees and non-course fees) payable, payment schedule and payment modes.

E. Fee Protection Scheme/Industry Wide Coverage and Student Contract

     Student will be briefed on the applicable Fee Protection Scheme/Industry Wide Coverage provided by the College and the contents covered in the Standard PEI-Student Contract.

F. Medical Insurance and Declaration

     Student will be briefed on the medical insurance scheme provided by Exerceo Business International College (Exerceo) for all its students.

G. Policies and Procedures – Transfer / Withdrawal / Deferment / Refund

      Student will be briefed on the College’s policies and procedures pertaining to Course Transfer, Course Withdrawal, Course Deferment and Refund.
