B. Overview
The Advanced Diploma in Business Management (Mandarin) integrates modern business and administration skills and knowledge essential to efficiently manage a business or in business development.
C. Objective
The aim of this course is to equip students with knowledge and understanding on Business Communication, Human Resource Management, International Economics, International Marketing, Logistic Management and Management of Corporate Strategy

The course consists of 6 modules:

Business Communication
This module has been developed to promote an understanding of key concepts of business communication as it applies to today’s organizations. Student will be exposed to the different frameworks of studying and understanding foundation of business communication and apply three step writing process for crafting brief message for reporting and oral presentation.
Human Resource Management
The content covers human resource management introduction, planning, analysis, recruitment and employment, performance management, compensation management, training, career development, labour relationship and human resource management in a cross-culture environment, etc. After learning, students should grasp the basic theory and method of human resource management, and know the common procedure of human resource management in companies.
International Economics
This module will enable the students to:
- Understand the fundamental aspects of international environment
- Identify the important opportunities and challenges a business facing and setting out a
course of action for dealing with them
iii. Examine the core issues and debates in international economics
iv. Communicate the evolving character of international economics from diverse perspectives

International Marketing
This module:
- Promotes awareness of the challenges and opportunities facing organisations in the international
marketplace and an understanding of the range of markets and tools.
- Differentiate international marketing from domestic marketing
- Examines the scope of international marketing, similarities and differences with domestic marketing
- Analyze and impact on international marketing, market entry strategies, international marketing
orientations, international marketing mix strategy, issues relating to standardization versus adaption,
management and control and other current issues.
Management of Corporate Strategy
This module equips students with the following:
- Understand the fundamental aspects of business and corporate strategy
Ii. Identify the important opportunities and challenges facing a business and setting out a course of
action for dealing with them
iii. Acquire familiarity with frameworks and techniques of strategic management
iv. Effectively position a business unit within a globalized competitive position

- Progression Pathway
Student who successfully completed the Advanced Diploma in Business Management (Chinese) may wish to progress to Post-Graduate Diploma in Management and Leadership (Mandarin) or OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership (Mandarin) offered by Exerceo Business International College.
E. Entry Requirements
Age: At least 18 years old
Academic: Minimum completion of business-related diploma or non-business-related diploma with at least 2 years related work experience or equivalent
Language Proficiency: At least a C6 in Chinese at GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent
