B. Overview
The Higher Diploma in Business Management will help students to develop managerial skills in confronting economic uncertainties, correlating rising costs of managing business and technological advancement, as well as preserving values in a highly competitive environment. The course aims to:

Unit 1 Financial Accounting
This module intends to help students learn about the basic accounting theory and accounting method so that they can account for actual business transactions in companies and provide the accounting report according.
Unit 2 Business Communication
This module aims to promote an understanding of key concepts of business communication as it applies to today’s organizations.
Unit 3 Principle of Management
This module equips the students with the explanation of the basic theory, knowledge, skills, and techniques of management, and combines with case study to enhance student’s ability of problem analyzing and solving.
Unit 4 Marketing
This module equips students with the basic theory, knowledge, skills and techniques of marketing, combines with case study to enhance student’s ability to problem analyzing and solving.
Unit 5 Human Resource Management
This module equip students with the basic theory and method of human resource management, and know the common procedure of human resource management in companies.
Unit 6 Introduction to Statistics
This module aims to equip students with a basic knowledge and understanding of business statistics.
Unit 7 Entrepreneurship
The module provides a good understanding of entrepreneurship, the issue encountered on the entrepreneurial journey, and most importantly, how you can become an entrepreneur yourself.
Unit 8 Organisational Behaviour
Upon completion of the module, students will have a better idea how to work along with their fellow colleague and form a strong team.
Unit 9 Leadership
This module equip students with the fundamental aspects of leadership, theories and models.
Unit 10 Innovative Management
This module equip students with the fundamentals of innovative management to support creative and innovative management processes for an organization.

p. Progression Pathway
Student who successfully completed the Higher Diploma in Business Management may wish to progress to Post-Graduate Diploma in Management and Leadership or OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership offered by Exerceo Business International College.
E. Entry Requirements
Age: At least 16 years old
Academic:
Minimum 2 Passes at GCE ‘A’ Level or Completion of Senior High School or
Equivalent.
For mature candidates, at least 21 years old with 5 years of working experience.
Language Proficiency: Minimum must Pass in English at GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent.
