B. Overview
Leaders and managers are instructional to the success of any organizations. This program allows learners to explore the dynamics and differences of leadership and management. Learners will be provided with an opportunity to develop their critical skills by focusing on knowledge such as organizational behaviour, marketing, business decision making and research methodology that is critical to successful leadership and management.
C. Objective
The Post-Graduate Certificate in Management and Leadership course aims to equip learners with the critical knowledge to become a successful manager and leader. Graduates will be well position to leverage on their newly acquired knowledge and skills for leadership and management positions in a wide variety of sectors and organizations.

The course consists of 4 modules:
- Organizational Behaviour
- Marketing Principles
- Business Decision Making
- Project Mini Case – Research Methods for Strategic Managers
Organization Behaviour
The aim of this module is to develop a student’s understanding of the influence culture, politics and power have on the behaviour of others in an organizational context. Students will be in a position to apply the principles of organizational behaviour to a variety of business situations.
Marketing Principles
This is a broad based module which gives learners the opportunity to apply the key principles of marketing. This module looks at the definitions of marketing, and what is meant by a marketing orientation and the marketing process, environmental analysis in marketing and carry out their own analyses at both macro and micro levels.
The module looks at he main elements of both the original and the extended marketing mix.
Learners will develop their own marketing mixes to meet the needs of different target groups. This includes considering the differences when marketing services opposed to goods.
Business Decision Making
This module gives learners the opportunity to examine a variety of sources and develop techniques in relation to four aspect of information: data gathering, data storage, and the tools available to create and present useful information.
Learners will gain an appreciation of information systems currently used at all levels in an organization as aids to decision making.
Project Mini Case – Research Methods for Strategic Managers
This module is designed to introduce learners to the techniques and methods required to carry out formal research. The module addresses a variety of research methodologies.
Learners will be required to propose a unique research question related to an area of professional business practice that interests them and will add to their professional development. They will carry out a literature review of the topic, critically evaluating its relevance to their research question.
Learners will understand the techniques, both quantitative and qualitative, used in research to analyse data. They will select an appropriate research methodology for their question, and record and present their findings. Tutor approval should be sought before learners begin their research and their final report should be presented in a format agreed by the tutor.

Full-time

E. Entry Requirements
Age: At least 21 years old
Academic: Minimum Bachelor Degree or equivalent
For mature candidates, over 30 year old of age and at least 8 years of relevant working experience but do not posses the required qualification may also considered.
Language Proficiency: Pass in English at GCE ‘O’ Level or equivalent
